Having a Will lets you decide what happens to your money, property and possessions after your death. If you make a Will, you can also make sure you don’t pay more Inheritance Tax than you need to. Of course you can write your Will yourself, but you should get advice, for example to make sure your Will is interpreted in the way you wanted.
You need to get your Will formally witnessed and signed to make it legally valid.
If you want to update your Will, you need to make an official alteration (called a codicil) or make a new Will.
It's not something I do myself, but because I am passionate about looking after you, I have a great relationship with my Will writer who will make sure you are treated like family.
Let me know if you need to arrange a Will and I will make the introduction.
